What does Faith mean to You

Faith can mean different things to different people. It depends on your believes and what is going on in your life at the time you’re thinking about it.

To me faith is when you believe in God. You know that he will guide you through any situation you may be in at the time and you trust in him. Faith is trusting in God to see you through anything. When you have faith, you’ll know that all is well.

Here is an acronym that I heard a while back in church. To me it’s perfect and couldn’t have been said better.

FAITH – Fantastic Abundance In Trusting Him

What do you think about this and how does it make you feel when you think about faith?

Uncertain times

In uncertain times some may feel scared and alone. God doesn’t want you to feel that way. He is always there for you, no matter what situation you are in.

The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but God comes to bring you life and have it more abundantly. He wants you to have everything you need and then some.

When the uncertain times come and you are hit with fear and you feel like you are in this world all alone, turn to God. Let him show you that you don’t have to feel this way. Let him show you that he is there for you no matter what happens in your life. No matter what the devil trys to throw your way, God can get you through it.

Turn to God in every situation that comes up, pray to him for a release of all fear and evil feelings. When you do this, you’ll feel much better about your life and you’ll be happy.

Have you learned to take a long-term look at your short-term problems?

Whenever something frustrating happens, don’t immediately become upset. Instead, ask yourself if this problem is really worth getting aggravated over: is this a five minute problem, a five hour problem, a five month problem, or a five year problem?

For example, if you can’t find where around your house you left your car keys, don’t let that steal your love, joy, peace, or patience. Being five minutes late to most things is not worth losing your joy. Similarly, if you’re stuck in a traffic jam, don’t let that ruin your Fruit of the Spirit. It’s not worth getting upset and uptight about a ten minute delay on your way to work. Indeed, ten minutes is nothing compared to all of eternity.

Finish the rest here.
