Whether you are a WAHM or a Mom that works outside the home, I’m sure you are like me. I’m always looking for ways to save money. I have two boys that are always growing and they eat tons of food. It seems like they are always hungry. We all know when they eat they grow.

I found a site that is just wonderful. They have coupons for thousands of different products. BestOnlineCoupons.com has online shopping for hiking boots, camping gear, hunting equipment, backpacking products, fishing stuff and boating merchandise.

They have coupons for clothing that I can use to buy my boys new clothes when they outgrow the old stuff. This happens a lot. LOL!

They also have books and magazines that make it cheaper than buying them at the local store.

They even have computer supplies. How awesome is that! When you run an online business or you have kids in school, you know you need computer supplies like ink and paper.

They even have a category for gifts so if you have a wedding or birthday party coming up, check out what they offer and save money while you’re ad it!

So, as you can tell, it doesn’t matter what you are looking for, www.BestOnlineCoupons.com will more than likely have it for you!

Why go to Church?

Author: Kevin and Corrie  //  Category: Uncategorized

If you’re spiritually alive, you’re going to love this! If you’re spiritually dead, you won’t want to read it. If you’re spiritually curious, there is still hope!

A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday (or Saturday). “I’ve gone for 30 years now,” he wrote, “and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can’t remember a single one of them. So, I think I’m wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all.”

This started a real controversy in the “Letters to the Editor” column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher.

“I’ve been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this. They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!” When you are DOWN to nothing….God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible! Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment!

“When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say, “Jesus, could you get that for me?”

Why did Jesus…

Why Did Jesus Fold The Linen Cloth After His Resurrection

The Gospel of John (20: 7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes. The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed at the head of that stony coffin. Is that important? You’d better believe it. Is that significant? Absolutely! Is it really significant? Yes! In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it. The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished. Now if the master was done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, “I’m done”. But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because the servant knew that the folded napkin meant, “I’m not finished yet.” The folded napkin meant, “I’m coming back!”

Draw Jesus to your Heart!

It is not our prayer which draws Jesus into our hearts. Nor is it our prayer which moves Jesus to come in to us. All He needs is access. He enters in of His own accord, because He desires to come in. And He enters in wherever He is not denied admittance. ~~ O. Hallesby

If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in.

It is the will of our heavenly Father that we should come to Him freely and confidently and make known our desires to Him, just as we would have our children come freely and of their own accord and speak to us about the things they would like to have. ~~ O. Hallesby

(It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) ~~ Luke 11:2

Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. ~~ Luke 11:3

Have you ever thought about how you got to where you are today as far as your finances go? I was thinking about that the other day and wondered how we got to where we are and how it could have been different. Finances are hard to talk about.

I remember when we first got married; we sat down and wrote down all of our bills on a sheet of paper. Then we wrote down the monthly payment and when it was due. Then we figured out which bills would be paid with which pay check.

The thing that gets to me the most is what you do when you pay off a bill. Most people will go out and get another loan and there goes that money. You should take that money and apply it to another bill. Easier said than done I know. Trust me I know!

There are a lot of websites that contain personal finance articles and tips on how to get out of debt or stay out of debt. You should read any and all articles you can find. You don’t want to get in to deep or any deeper if you are already in debt.

Good luck!

Malachi 3:3

Malachi 3:3 says: ‘He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.’

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn’t mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: ‘He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.’ ; ; ;She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.

The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed

The woman was silent for a moment Then she asked the silversmith, ‘How do you know when the silver is fully refined?’

He smiled at her and answered, ‘Oh, that’s easy — when I see my image in it.’

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

Pass this on right now. This very moment, someone needs to know that God is watching over them.

And, whatever they’re going through, they’ll be a better person in the end.

‘Life is a coin. You can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.’

God’s order and God’s permissive will

Author: Kevin and Corrie  //  Category: Uncategorized

We learn by prayer to detect the difference between God’s order and God’s permissive will. God’s order is – no pain, no sickness, no devil, no war, no sin: His permissive will is all these things, the “soup” we are in just now. What a man needs to do is to get hold of God’s order in the kingdom on the inside, and then he will begin to see how to handle the riddle of the universe on the outside. ~~ O. Chambers

A few posts ago we talked about debt management. In this post we are going to talk about a credit card that you can use when your credit is not the greatest.

When a person gets into some financial trouble and their credit rating goes down or they have to file bankruptcy it can be hard to get a loan. It can be just as hard to get a credit card. A credit card is almost a necessity anymore. A lot of places don’t except checks anymore, so a credit card is a must.

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could get 10 offers on different cards just like you can get 4 offers on a home loan? I think that would be so cool! Check this out, if you are in need of a credit card, why not get a quote for your very own set of bad credit cards.
