Make Mother’s Day Easy for You

Author: Kevin and Corrie  //  Category: Uncategorized

Mother’s Day is a time for moms to sit back, relax, and enjoy a special day, courtesy of the kids. But some mothers have trouble doing that. They have their own moms to buy gifts for and pamper, and the kids can’t take care of themselves, and dinner won’t cook itself. Does this sound familiar? Here are some ways that you can make the most of Mother’s Day and enjoy it to the fullest.

Do your Mother’s Day shopping early to avoid last-minute stress. Put some thought into her gift and get her something that she can truly enjoy. If you have the time, a hand-made scrapbook is a particularly heartwarming gift. If you’re a busy lady, taking the time to cook Mom her favorite meal would be a thoughtful gesture. Flowers are also a beautiful way to show your mom how much you care.

Don’t forget about Grandma and Mother-in-Law! They deserve something special on this day, too. If you’re having trouble with gift ideas, get them some great-smelling bath products or foot the bill for a manicure or a day at the spa. Moms don’t get pampered nearly as often as they should, and when they do it is something to truly appreciate.

The Spirit of the Lord

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

The price of milk is almost as high as gas!

Author: Kevin and Corrie  //  Category: Uncategorized

The price of gas, milk, and bread are going through the roof. I have heard on the news and the radio that the price of gas will be over $4 a gallon by summer. It’s amazing to me that we are expected to pay for these high prices. The cost of these necessities are rising almost weekly, but our hourly rates are not rising. It’s no wonder people have bad credit and a lot of debt. With the cost of these things people can’t afford to pay for them so they have to use credit cards.

With all of that, you may have to file bankrupcy to out from under it all. Once that happens, you are starting over with a clean slate. It’s hard to get loans and credit card to build your credit all over again. can help you all the way. They have bad credit credit cards and bad credit loans that will help you build your credit to where it was before all this happened.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to get a loan for a car or a home and not have to deal with banks asking you all the embarressing questions? Make sure you check out today!

Center of the Bible

Q: What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?
A: Psalms 117

Q: What is the longest chapter in the Bible?
A: Psalms 119

Q: Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?
A: Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118
Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118
Add these numbers up and you get 1188.

Q:? What is the center verse in the Bible?
A: Psalms 118:8

Q:? Does this verse say something significant about God’s perfect will for our lives?

The next time someone says they would like to find God’s perfect will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His will, just send them to the center of His Word!

Psalms 118:8
‘It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.’

Now isn’t that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)?

Before sending this I said a prayer for you. Got a minute?? 60 seconds for God?

All you do is say a small prayer for the person who sent you this………

‘Father God bless my friend in whatever it is that you know he/she may be needing this day!

And may his/her life be full of your peace,

prosperity and power as he/she seeks to have a

closer relationship with You.

Then send it on to 10 other people. Within hours 10 people have prayed for you, and you caused a multitude of people to pray to God for other people. Then sit back and watch the power of God work in your life…

When things get tough, always remember…

Faith doesn’t get you around trouble, it gets you through it!!

God Bless You!

Do you use coupons?

Whether you are a WAHM or a Mom that works outside the home, I’m sure you are like me. I’m always looking for ways to save money. I have two boys that are always growing and they eat tons of food. It seems like they are always hungry. We all know when they eat they grow.

I found a site that is just wonderful. They have coupons for thousands of different products. has online shopping for hiking boots, camping gear, hunting equipment, backpacking products, fishing stuff and boating merchandise.

They have coupons for clothing that I can use to buy my boys new clothes when they outgrow the old stuff. This happens a lot. LOL!

They also have books and magazines that make it cheaper than buying them at the local store.

They even have computer supplies. How awesome is that! When you run an online business or you have kids in school, you know you need computer supplies like ink and paper.

They even have a category for gifts so if you have a wedding or birthday party coming up, check out what they offer and save money while you’re ad it!

So, as you can tell, it doesn’t matter what you are looking for, will more than likely have it for you!

Why go to Church?

Author: Kevin and Corrie  //  Category: Uncategorized

If you’re spiritually alive, you’re going to love this! If you’re spiritually dead, you won’t want to read it. If you’re spiritually curious, there is still hope!

A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday (or Saturday). “I’ve gone for 30 years now,” he wrote, “and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can’t remember a single one of them. So, I think I’m wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all.”

This started a real controversy in the “Letters to the Editor” column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher.

“I’ve been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this. They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!” When you are DOWN to nothing….God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible! Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment!

“When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say, “Jesus, could you get that for me?”

Why did Jesus…

Why Did Jesus Fold The Linen Cloth After His Resurrection

The Gospel of John (20: 7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes. The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed at the head of that stony coffin. Is that important? You’d better believe it. Is that significant? Absolutely! Is it really significant? Yes! In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it. The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished. Now if the master was done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, “I’m done”. But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because the servant knew that the folded napkin meant, “I’m not finished yet.” The folded napkin meant, “I’m coming back!”

He is Coming Back!
